Welcome...

TO VARNA COMMUNITY PRIMARY SCHOOL

MISS SCOTT SAYS GOODBYE!

Today Varna Community Primary School said a fond farewell to our wonderful, inspirational headteacher Miss Scott, who is beginning her well-earned retirement. She will sorely missed and the pupils and staff gave her a socially distanced farewell today!

Miss Scott will be adding her own message later on, but for now have a look below at her receiving her gifts and making a speech. WARNING! It's a tear-jerker...

Varna Community Primary school is a popular two form entry community school for children aged 3-11.  Our building is more than five years old but we are still very proud of it and strive really hard to keep it in the best condition for our children and staff.  We are lucky enough to have a dedicated music room for the woodwind, guitars and steel pan instruments.  We have amazing outdoor facilities such as the multi use games area and the 3G pitch which can be used for various sports.  Our habitat area has an investigation table, bird hide and feeding station which sits alongside the canopy covered music garden.

We are proud of being a successful school, all the staff work extremely hard and are committed to doing their very best for the children at Varna.  We treat all children as individuals and work carefully to meet all their needs through a broad, balanced curriculum.

Our curriculum promotes British Values, healthy lifestyles and a love for learning.  We want to excite the children and encourage them to get the very best from the school.  We aim to leave them with happy, long lasting memories of their time at Varna Community Primary School.
