Ofsted Report March 2025

We are delighted to share the final report from our recent Ofsted Inspection with you. One of the highlights from the report for us is that they recognise what we do to ensure a high quality education whilst ensuring that children feel safe and secure, “The school fosters an environment that is aspirational for the achievement of all groups of pupils. The curriculum is broad and ambitious. Pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) have the same opportunities as their peers because they are well supported to be successful. Pupils try hard and achieve well overall. Staff know pupils extremely well and understand their needs. Pupils know that adults will listen and help them if they have a worry. This helps pupils to feel happy and safe."

Maths Morning - Wednesday 26th February

Start: 26th Feb 2020 9:00am

Duration: 1 hour

Dear Parents/ Carers,

 

Developing our maths skills are a whole school priority this year and as a school we are looking into ways in which we can support children further. As a result, we would like to invite parents and carers of to a maths morning in school where we can share with you strategies used to develop maths and mathematical thinking.

 

The session will start at 9.00am on Wednesday 26th February and finish at around 10am. The first part of the session will be an overview of how we teach maths and how you can help at home. The second part will give you a chance to visit your child in class to watch and take part in some maths activities.

 

In order that we can prepare the necessary resources if you would like to attend please can you complete the registration on School Spider by Monday 24th February 2020.
