Chinese New Year themed meal

Duration: 1 hour

Dear Parents/Carers of children who have a packed lunch,

 

To celebrate Chinese New Year, the School Cook, Mrs Jones, will be making a Chinese themed meal on Friday 24th January 2020.

 

The menu is:

 

  • Turkey Chow Mein
  • Halal Chicken Chow Mein
  • Quorn Chow Mein

Or

  • Jacket potato with a choice of fillings

 

This will be followed by pineapple and orange muffins or a nut free almond flavour cookie.

 

If your child normally has a packed lunch and they would like to have a school meal on this day, please log in to school spider to let us know by Friday 17th January. This is to enable Mrs Jones to order the food in advance. Unfortunately, we may not be able to guarantee a meal if the deadline is missed.

 

Is applicable you will also need to pay online on SIM’s Pay for this meal, the cost of this is £2.25. If your child is in Reception, Y1, Y2 or you are entitled to free school meals you do not have to pay for the meal but you do need to return the slip.
